제 12 대 계왕
분하게 죽은 분서왕의 장남으로,
강직하고 용감하며 승마와 궁술 모두에 능했다고 한다.
비류왕이 재위 40년 만에 죽자,
빼앗겼던 왕위을 되찾아, 고이왕계를 다시 부활 시켰으나,
2년 만에 비류왕의 아들, 근초고왕에게 패하여 고이왕통의 마지막 왕이 되었다.
삼국사기의 기록은 단 두 줄, 안습이다.
