[The Suwannews=Kim Tongjoo Reporter] Gangneung City’s Youth Center Duru will host the ‘2023 Youth Day Celebration Event’ from the 15th to the 16th of this month. Youth Day is an event designated by the government every year on the third Saturday of September to raise awareness of youth rights and the importance of youth policies.
This year’s event, themed ‘Dream come DOOROO’, aims to support the dreams and futures of young people, and to communicate and exchange with young people who are active in various fields.
On the 15th, a talk concert will be held with 11 solo young entrepreneurs from the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. Through this, they will provide realistic advice and information to aspiring young entrepreneurs and inspire hope and courage.
There will also be booths where you can experience various business items. At these booths, visitors can experience the products and services of solo young entrepreneurs in various fields such as crafts, manufacturing, and bakery.
On Saturday, the 16th, a special lecture by marketing expert Kim Jin-wook will be held. His lecture, “I chose to live as a marketer,” will provide participants with a better understanding of the marketing field and suggest ways to strengthen their capabilities.
In addition, there will be a youth seminar called “I Want You to Get to Know Everyone,” which was ranked as the No. 1 interaction area in the Youth Week survey. This will allow young people to share their problems and concerns with each other, and is expected to promote exchanges among young people in Gangneung.
