On a nice
day, I peel
the bark off a dead tree to grill meat.
After doing my hair,
As I ate
to my heart’s content, broke off branches from flowering trees to count
my drinks, and dozed off in the sunshine,
Before I knew it, the sun had set
, and dry leaves were swirling in the wind.
I raise
my glass in
tribute to the sunset over the distant mountains and sink into the deepening darkness.
