The Korean Council for University Education (Chairman Lee Ki-jeong, President of Hanyang University; hereinafter referred to as the Council) announced that it will host the “2027 Academic Year Early Admission Information Fair,” featuring 150 universities nationwide, for three days from Thursday, July 23, to Saturday, July 25, in Hall A on the first floor of COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
At the 2027 Early Admission College Information Fair, organizers plan to provide practical and detailed counseling to prospective students based on an analysis of the admission results from participating universities.
Due to the overhaul of the college admissions system for the 2028 academic year and the continued increase in the proportion of students admitted through early admissions, interest in early admissions and the demand for information among students, parents, and high school teachers are surging. Accordingly, universities aim to provide accurate and practical college admissions information to prospective students and their parents, thereby alleviating the excessive financial burden of private tutoring and helping to prevent the spread of inaccurate admissions information.
In particular, at the “Admissions Counseling Booths for Participating Universities,” professors, admissions officers, and staff members will provide “one-on-one personalized counseling” based on each university’s admission results. In addition, admission guidelines and other informational materials will be distributed free of charge, and detailed explanations of each university’s admission process and application strategies will be provided.
In addition, the organization plans to operate separate promotional booths—such as the “Comprehensive College Admissions Information Center,” where students can search for admissions information on their preferred universities—to provide a variety of resources to help students prepare for college admissions.

□ “Adiga” College Admissions Information Portal Promotion Center: Guidance on how to use the “Adiga” (adiga.kr) college admissions information portal’s AI-based interactive chatbot service and standard common application submission service
□ University Information Center: Demonstration and Guidance on How to Search the University Information Center
□ Korea University Sports Federation Information Center: Guidance on using the search service—which allows users to filter results by sport, admission track, and recognized competitions—on the “Sports Scholarship Admission Portal” (info.kusf.or.kr), as well as information on college admissions for athletes with sports scholarships
□ Korea Institute of Health Information Management Education and Evaluation (KIHIMEE) Information Center: Promotion of the evaluation and certification program for departments, universities, and institutions offering the Certified Health Information Manager (CHIM) program
Following last year’s event, the fair plans to operate a “One-on-One College Admissions Counseling Booth” staffed by the Korea Council for University Education’s “College Admissions Counseling Team”—who have extensive experience in career and college admissions counseling—to provide a wide range of counseling opportunities on-site.
One-on-one college admissions counseling sessions will be held in the conference room on the 3rd floor of COEX during the expo and are available free of charge by prior reservation.
Students who were unable to receive counseling due to time and capacity limitations can still access the same counseling services after the fair through the Korean Council for University Education’s “College Admissions Counseling Center” via phone (☎1600-1615) and online counseling, as well as counseling on the Comprehensive Student Record-Based Admissions System (University Admissions Information Portal “Adiga,” adiga.kr) to receive the same counseling services.
Information on how to reserve admission to the expo can be found on the University Admissions Information Expo website (univexpo.kr). The expo is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. The admission fee is 2,000 won.
