Suwan News, a media outlet for teens and young adults, has unveiled “Bounce,” a new concept in location-based matching services where your smartphone reacts before your heart does. The core feature of Bounce is that when two people who have expressed mutual interest actually get close to each other, their phones notify them first.
Bounce's slogan is "Don't hide your feelings—show them." It uses an intuitive method where you swipe right on a card you like to express interest, but the real fun begins after two people are matched—that's when the "next step" starts.
Vibrations that grow more intense as the distance closes
When someone you’re mutually interested in enters a 100-meter radius around you, your phone emits its first notification. As they get closer—at 50 meters, 10 meters, and 2 meters—the phone’s vibration gradually becomes faster and stronger in eight stages, just like your heartbeat.
3 meters ahead, the tolling of a bell heralding fate
When your destined match finally comes within 3 meters, the loud vibrations stop, and a long, subtle “special vibration”—like the bell in a romantic movie—rings out. You can thrillingly tell, just by the sensation on your wrist, whether they’re just a passerby or a true soulmate who shares a connection with you.
"50m Radar" & "Ironclad Security"—Right Up My Alley
There's no need to feel disappointed even before a match is made. When you turn on the "Radius" feature, it pinpoints and recommends the perfect match—someone within 50 meters whose interests and tastes perfectly align with yours.
As this is a location-based service, we have taken thorough measures to ensure safety and protect privacy. ▲ The app calculates and shares only the user’s distance, not their coordinates. ▲ The distance to unmatched users is displayed in 5-meter increments, making it impossible to pinpoint a specific location and thereby preventing stalking at its source. ▲ We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment, impersonation, and coercion to meet in person. To enhance trust, verified company employees display an “authentication badge” after passing verification via internal email or their mobile employee ID.
You can start searching for matches near you right now on Bounce (bounce.swnest.net), which first launched as a web app and Android app. (Unfortunately, iPhone users will have to settle for heart-fluttering “on-screen notifications” instead of vibrations.)
