On September 21, the Gangneung Cultural Foundation held a pre-festival briefing at the Myeongju Arts Plaza for operators of booths participating in the 18th Gangneung Coffee Festival. This briefing was organized to share key operational plans with participating businesses ahead of the festival and to establish a system of cooperation to ensure smooth on-site operations.

At the briefing, organizers provided information on the overall operational direction of the festival, the layout of the event grounds, key programs, transportation and safety management plans, and guidelines for operating participant booths. They also urged participating vendors to actively cooperate to ensure the convenience and safety of visitors during the festival.
The 18th Gangneung Coffee Festival will be held for five days, from October 21 to 25, along Gangneung Coffee Street and throughout Gangneung City. This year, organizers plan to run a variety of programs centered on Gangneung Coffee Street while expanding the festival’s geographical scope to cover the entire city of Gangneung. They also aim to lay the groundwork for the festival’s transformation into a global event by linking it with the Gangneung ITS World Congress.
An official from the Gangneung Cultural Foundation stated, “Through this preliminary briefing, we shared the festival’s operational direction with participating vendors and confirmed the areas where their cooperation is needed for on-site operations.” The official added, “Together with the participating vendors, we will create a safe and pleasant festival environment so that both citizens and tourists can enjoy the festival.”
