As fall approaches, announcements for startup support programs are coming in one after another. We’ve categorized the announcements posted on K-Startup into four types: two startup training programs, two co-working and incubation spaces, and two networking events. The target age groups, regions, and application periods are all based on the official announcements. The earliest deadline is October 5, so it’s best to apply as soon as possible.
I. Entrepreneurship Training: Two Courses for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
The 2026 Okcheon County Local Creator Academy will select 20 young people from Okcheon County who are interested in starting a business in the region. The program is organized by Let’s Co., Ltd., and is open to residents of North Chungcheong Province aged 20 to 39. Applications will be accepted online until 1:00 p.m. on October 5. There are no required documents or separate selection procedures.
The training will be held in the auditorium on the second floor of "Cheongnyeon-irang" in Okcheon County (73 Jungang-ro, Okcheon-eup). On October 6, the session will focus on refining ideas; on October 13, on developing a concrete business model; and on October 27, on refining business plans and prototypes. All three sessions will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The 8th cohort of the AI All-Rounder (Planning, Development, Marketing) Entrepreneur Training Program is a government-funded training program operated by DigiPlanet. It is open to prospective entrepreneurs nationwide who are between the ages of 20 and 39. Online applications will be accepted until November 16. Applicants must hold a Tomorrow Learning Card or be eligible to receive one; entrepreneurs who have been in business for three years or more based on their business registration (including those with a history of business closure) are ineligible.
The training period runs from November 16, 2026, to March 12, 2027, and sessions are held on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The total training cost is 12,016,000 won. The government subsidy amounts to 11,616,000 won, and the participant’s out-of-pocket cost is 400,000 won. The announcement states that the out-of-pocket cost can be offset by a training incentive of up to 300,000 won per month, paid over four months. The curriculum consists of five stages, ranging from business idea planning to the use of generative AI tools, market validation, marketing, business plan development, and investor relations (IR) pitching. Free laptop rentals and one-on-one mentoring are also provided.
II. Housing and Childcare Facilities: Preparing the paperwork takes time
Dongguk University BMC Startup Incubation Center (Goyang) is accepting applications for its 6th round of new tenant recruitment for 2026; the program is located at the Dongguk University Industry-Academia Cooperation Building, 32 Dongguk-ro, Ilsan-dong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The program is open to aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage companies established within the past seven years. The age categories specified in the announcement include both those aged 20 to 39 and those aged 40 and older. Aspiring entrepreneurs must be able to register their business within three months of moving in.
Applications must be submitted via email by 11:00 p.m. on October 28. The first round is a document review, and the second round is a presentation review on November 3. The move-in date is set for December 1 and cannot be postponed. The available units are as follows: two 25-pyeong units, one 26-pyeong unit, one 27-pyeong unit, and one 38-pyeong unit.
The security deposit is 300,000 won per 3.3 square meters. The rental fee is 25,000 won per 3.3 square meters, and the maintenance fee is 18,000 won; a separate security fee of 13,109 won per unit applies. All amounts are exclusive of VAT. The lease term is 3 years as standard, with a maximum of 5 years. The application form and consent form require an official seal, and existing business owners should apply in advance, as it takes at least 5 days to issue a Certificate of Startup Status.
Strictly speaking, the Seoul Startup Center Gwanak X SK Eco Plant Open Innovation Program is not a call for tenant applications; rather, it is a program in which the application categories are classified as “Facilities, Space, and Incubation.” The program is open to startups based in Seoul that have been in operation for seven years or less (or up to 10 years for those in emerging industries), and applications are accepted until 11:59 p.m. on October 11. Both applicants aged 20 to 39 and those aged 40 and older are eligible.
Document screening will take place from October 12 to 14, and the one-on-one meetup with SK Eco Plant is scheduled for October 19. Two companies will be selected in the final round. The selected companies will proceed with joint technology development and a Proof of Concept (PoC) and will each receive 10 million won in commercialization support funds. A certificate confirming startup or small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) status is a required document.
III. Networking Events: Scheduled in Succession in Early and Mid-October
The "Jeonbuk-Seoul Metropolitan Area Investment & Business Roundtable" is an event organized by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, Jeonbuk Technopark, and Cookie News. Registration is open until 2:00 p.m. on October 7, and the event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 8 in Medium Conference Room 3 on the B1 floor of the Science and Technology Convention Center in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Participation is free. The event is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), venture companies, and startups in the Seoul Metropolitan Area seeking to attract investment and expand their businesses, provided they have been in operation for less than 10 years.
The event will feature the Jeonbuk Venture Fund, worth 1 trillion won, and the Regional Growth Fund, worth 103.6 billion won—the first of its kind in the country. This will be followed by investor relations (IR) pitches from five promising companies selected by Jeonbuk Province, and one-on-one investment consultations with 32 investment firms will also be held. Participants who pre-register and take part in on-site consultations will receive a voucher for AI-powered personalized learning (worth 100,000 won).
The 3D Printing Networking Day (Meeting with Experienced Entrepreneurs) is an event organized by the Mapo 3D-FAB under the 3D Printing Research Association. It is open to aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) currently developing products using 3D printing technology; there are no restrictions on the length of time a business has been in operation. Registration is open until 11:59 p.m. on October 14. The event will take place on October 21 on the 6th floor of Front One, 122 Mapo-daero, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Participants will engage in group mentoring sessions with mentors who have experience commercializing products using 3D-FAB, organized by productization theme, and there will also be time for networking among attendees. To apply, log in to the 3D-FAB website and submit the application form and personal information consent form.
IV. Checkpoints by Deadline
The event with the earliest deadline is the Okcheon County Academy on October 5. This is followed by the Jeonbuk Investment Round (October 7), the Seoul Startup Center Gwanak (October 11), the 3D-FAB Networking Day (October 14), Dongguk University BMC (October 28), and DigiPlanet Cohort 8 (November 16).
Not all programs are exclusively for young people. The two educational programs have clear age restrictions, while the others are open to applicants aged 40 and older. Since eligibility requirements regarding business tenure and location vary, applicants must review the exclusion criteria and required documents in the announcement before applying. The announcement states that the schedule is subject to change depending on the circumstances of the program operator.
