The Hoje-myeon Angel Guardians (Chairman Lee Sang-hyuk) held a “Sharing Songpyeon with Love” event on the 22nd for underprivileged residents in the area ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
This charity event was organized to convey warm wishes to low-income families receiving support through the "Angel Movement" due to financial difficulties, in celebration of Chuseok, and to help marginalized neighbors enjoy a more abundant holiday.
On that day, the “Angel Guardians” visited eight low-income households in person to deliver songpyeon and exchange holiday greetings, fostering a sense of warmth and community among neighbors. Every year, the members of the “Angel Guardians” continue their charitable activities by reaching out to neighbors in need within the community.
Lee Sang-hyuk, chairman of the Hojye-myeon Angel Guardians, said, “I am happy to be able to share a warm gesture with our neighbors in need as we celebrate the Chuseok holiday,” adding, “We will continue to show concern and practice generosity so that neighbors in need are not left behind and can enjoy a warm holiday.”
