[Suwan News = Official Press Release] Suwan News (CEO Kim Dong-ju), a media outlet for teenagers and young adults, is accepting open applications for its editorial leadership team from December 5, 2025, through January 20, 2026. Suwan News is seeking key talent to serve as its editorial directors, who will support the reporting activities of team members across eight core departments and take the lead in managing their respective teams.
We are currently recruiting one editor-in-chief for each of the following departments: Politics, Society, Economy, Culture, Education, IT/Science, and International. For the Regional News Department, we plan to select reporters assigned to specific metropolitan areas (e.g., Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi Province, and other provinces). When applying for the Regional News Department, you must include the note “Applying for the Regional News Department” in the message to the recruiter.
Each department head serves as a leader who oversees the reporting activities of journalists in their department and supports them in writing articles. ▲ They lead all aspects of team operations, including presiding over weekly team meetings and planning joint projects and assigning reporting areas. They may also participate in the talent recruitment process, such as interviewing new journalists.

The selection process consists of an initial document review followed by a second-round interview, which will be conducted via video conference. We recommend a minimum commitment of two years after selection; while extensions and early withdrawal are at the applicant’s discretion, a handover to a successor is mandatory.
If selected as a News Desk Chief, you will develop professional leadership skills and media content production capabilities, and your experience in this role can be actively incorporated into your portfolio. In addition, a press pass and business cards are provided as standard, and access to Google Workspace and Gemini AI Pro will be granted after three months.
Meanwhile, there is a 100,000 won enrollment fee, 80% of which is refunded upon meeting the course completion requirements, resulting in a final out-of-pocket cost of 20,000 won.
